I want to stop and take the time to thank you for being so selfless. I know that the path that has led you to where you are now in your life has been a long one. Daily life can take its toll on anyone but if you add a life threatening situation it puts it over the top. You found a positive side to the life you can now live and for that my family as well as many others are beyond grateful. When you reached out to me you asked me to send you a quote to sum up Zane’s Disney adventure. I have thought about it over the course of months since then and there are no words to describe the happiness you feel when you see the excitement and joy on your child’s face when they see something amazing. Staying at Give Kids the World is exactly what is says…They truly are giving kids the world. From the time you walk under the archway and enter, the pain of the daily life seems to stop existing. All the things that you feel you couldn’t do melt away. At Give Kids the World Zane never stopped smiling. For my husband and I that in its self makes all the tears and pain that we see and feel for him everyday all worth. You,Frank gave Zane happiness he will never forget in his life. You gave him the opportunity to fill his heart with love and something magical. Zane, along with his two sisters, one of which suffers from the same life threatening disorder as himself, enjoyed swimming and eating icecream as much as they could possibly tolerate. Zane’s most favorite thing is dinosaurs. On one of our fun filled days we were walking through the Jurassic Park themed park and a man came up to Zane and seen he wore a Give Kids the World badge. The told us to stay right there he had something special for Zane. When he returned he told us to follow him, he took us behind the exhibit and Zane found a surprise waiting for him! The man was holding a baby triceratops! It was moving and making noises! It was amazing! The look on Zane’s face was nothing I have ever seen. The amount of joy was so much for him, his eyes filled up with tears and he did not know what to say or do. I just stared at my son and enjoyed his happiness. There are no words for what you feel inside your heart. Baking Memories 4 Kids is more than an organization that sends families on a vacation for a break from reality. For me its a man that has seen pain first hand and has put love and dedication into something that changes lives. Frank, I could never give you back what you have given Zane and our family. Memories that we will have forever. Thank you for Baking Memories 4 Kids and your dedication.

All our love, Zane, Alexus, Ava, Mom and Dad

A lot of people made this trip happen. It went so smoothly it was almost like magic. But the real magic is in the big hearts these people have. They didn’t sit and say “wouldn’t it be nice to do something”. They proactively came together and MADE things happen. From the cookies that were lovingly made with my child in mind to the gifts that magically appeared every day at the village. I don’t think there are enough words to express our families depth of gratitude for every nice thing that was done for us. Thank you seems so very inadequate. But everyone of you blessed us this past week in a very special way. I cried a lot (happy tears so all good!). The caring touched our hearts & made us feel very cherished.- Amy Fields

Hi Frank – I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful vacation that Baking Memories 4 Kids provided for my little boy Aidan, 5, and our family. Aidan was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on July 18th, 2012. Despite this diagnosis, we feel so blessed because our little boy continues to do very well. Aidan has been in remission since one month after his treatment began. This is great news, but as you know, dealing with cancer is all encompassing. Prior to you sending our family to Florida, we had not had a family vacation in over five years. Aidan’s continued good health inspires us, but every day we deal with the fear of the unknown. The vacation in Florida allowed our family to really focus on one another, and enjoy spending time together without thoughts of cancer and chemo, spinal taps and complications. Aidan went to Sea World and loved the dolphins. He saw Mickey and Minnie at Disney, and went on rides and played at Give Kids the World Village. In one week, you gave Aidan and our family memories that will last us a lifetime. I am struggling to find the right words to express how much this week meant to our family, because there just aren’t enough. Thank you, Frank, for your selflessness and kindness. Thank you for taking your own personal tragedy and refusing to be beaten. Thank you for all of the good that you have brought into the lives of children with life threatening illnesses. Your courage and kindness have been an inspiration to our whole family, and to all others who have been blessed to have crossed your path. You are proof that miracles do happen, every day, indeed..

Hello Frank: We would just like to thank you and your wonderful foundation for sending us on this AMAZING trip to Disney for our daughter Eva Grace!! It was an experience we will never forget!! I have enclosed a few pictures for you to use as you would like. This trip would not have been possible without the help and generosity from you guys. Eva Grace is now 32 months old and was diagnosed at 5 months old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1. It is a genetic, neuromuscular disease which affects her inability to sit, stand, crawl or walk. It is the leading genetic killer of children under the age of 2. Eva is our miracle child and was not expected to live to see her first birthday. We spent 4 long months in the pediatric ICU and were basically told that she would never come home. Eva surprised everyone and ultimately ended up with a tracheostomy and a feeding tube. She lives dependent on a ventilator 24 hours a day and requires around the clock nursing. Our daughter Eva absolutely LOVES anything Disney, especially the princesses and fairies. She had the most amazing time on our trip which we never, ever thought she would live to see. Eva has an 8 year old brother Noah and we can’t even begin to explain to you just how much we enjoyed getting to experience the trip as a family. It was the most memorable time of our lives and it will forever be in our thoughts and hearts. We feel extremely honored to have been chosen by Baking Memories For Kids for making our dream come true!!
With sincere appreciation, Melissa, John, Noah and Eva Grace Kelly

We want to say THANK YOU to baking Memories 4 Kids. The trip you provided our family changed our lives! For once in Wyatt’s life he got to feel like a normal boy. In the words of Wyatt “that was the best week of my life”. Thank you for giving us this experience!!!
We will forever be grateful!

I want to thank you for a memory of a lifetime. What you do for families like mine is such a wonderful positive thing. Making these kids feel special when they are facing challenges alot of people do not understand. It’s great you make awareness for these true heros. Frank, Christina, the people who help bake cookies and for those who purchase the cookies are gifts from god. You all will hold a special place in my heart. I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for Bailee. She will always remember this and it’s going to put her in positive spirits while she is undergoing treatment. I am so great full and will never be able to fully express my appreciation and gratitude for you guys. We have had a rocky roller-coaster along the way but you have gave my daughter the gift of a lifetime. Sharing your passion compassion and love to someone who is my hero. love you guys thanks a million you are all amazing thanks for making this possible. You guys are heaven sent my angels. For 9 days, we had so much taken off our shoulders. We didn’t have to plan 3 different meals 3 times a day, we didn’t have to plan 3 different age appropriate activities or rush to shuttle kids to 3 schools. I didn’t have to answer the phone or check my work email, I got to live, live life with my family, the way its meant to be. I got to be in family pictures instead of behind the lens. People led us and helped us along the way so we didn’t have to find destinations on our own. I saw smiling faces every day from my family, not worrying from schoolwork or business matters. Dreams came true, memories were made. All as a family, as one!

Thank you Christina. Thank you Frank. Thank you to everyone who purchased cookies! We could not have done it without you. Period.

And it was the most amazing thing ever for us!!”

Our Cookie Trip this past March was incredible. Thanks to ‘Frank, the cookie man’ (as our son Brian calls him) we spent a stress free, A-T free, happiness and smiles all day, week long trip to Florida. At Give Kids the World, we learned to let go and relax. Brian (and his trusty sidekick Andrew) shined and enjoyed the whirlwind of special activities, special places, royal treatment and once in a lifetime fun. As parents our favorite moments were watching our boys run, smile and laugh together. Those are moments of pure bliss that we don’t take for granted. It was even more wonderful to be able to take a deep breath, leave it all behind and join in their squeals of laughter. Brian’s top moments of our cookie trip were: fighting Darth Vader and winning, fishing, licking cherry Mickey lollipops, playing with superheroes. As Mama, I
still look through the pictures and they bring a smile to my face every single time. Thank you Frank the Cookie Man and thank you Christina for giving us the opportunity to make magical memories and to leave our worries behind. We are grateful for you.

“I really loved every moment of this experience from meeting Frank to coming home with our memories, but the moment that stood out and made me feel like the trip was truly life changing happened after we saw the “Frozen Sing Along” show at Disney Hollywood Studios. We walked up to a line of hundred of people and a cast member approached us to take Naomi in to the very first row. Naomi was engaged and happy the entire show. As we walked to the car after Naomi, my child who struggles to find her voice and even make sounds, sang the whole way home. She sang with her whole heart right up until she fell asleep. I made my heart leap. I will never ever forget that moment when snow magic came to life and Naomi in her own special way let her heart sing! The video makes me cry” – Melissa

“My favorite memory from Baking Memories….Do I have to pick just one thing? I still loved Naomi’s face when the firetrucks came down the street with Frank. I loved Naomi’s excitement leading up to the trip and how she did her big smile when we first saw the castle. She knew we were at the magical place from all of her favorite movies and shows. I love how she recognized all of the characters and the look in her eyes each time we experienced Disney Magic. I will never forget riding Peter Pan’s flight 3x in a row because the attendant knew she loved it so much and it was hard to get on and off. I also really loved all of the food at the Village, Naomi loved it too! I didn’t do a very good job at picking one thing. Ask Christina if I can think about it more” We are so excited for October. Please let me know where I should send a hard copy of the video 🙂 – Shawn

I’ve been looking for the right words to express how grateful we are for u, the truth is there aren’t enough thank you’s in the world that i could give you. I thank God for you and ur cousin. ur hard work and generosity is a rare commodity that you just don’t see anymore. You both work endless hours, a labor of love to give to special children like my granddaughter bailee. You make a difference in this world and touch so many lives. I wish i could repay you for the love and kindness you have given us but i cant, there’s not enough money in the world. Today we witnessed 3 organizations that were so kind and giving of themselves, baking memories 4 kids, once upon a party and the leesburg fire department. I cant express enough how much this experience means to my granddaughter. May God bless you all.
